The songs present perspectives of invited voices that were distilled from interviews on sociopolitical topics, simplified, shortened and embedded as live-performable original voices in a sequencer-based PureData instrument. The sound character and rhythm of the voices shaped the compositional toolkit of melodic and rhythmic elements, vocal sequences, and refrains, with which the songs can be improvised live.
VOCES performed the songs in a series of concerts in Berlin neighborhoods with Udo Lindemann (drums), Hye Joo Jun (cj), Mireia Olivé (cj) (transmediale vorspiel 2015 @ bartleby, coop antikriegscafé, kremansky, volksbühne foyer).
